  • Round walk which requires a certain amount of effort and takes you up along hilltop paths then back down following the river and going through the vineyards. In the 13th C., the river was a major vector of communication and was used by "gabarres" (flat-bottomed cargo boats) which, carrying wood, wine or coal enabled Quercy to trade with Aquitaine and other regions.
