The itinerary follows the river before climbing up on the Causse, from which you can see far and wide over the Célé valley. The Abbey vestiges are a mosaic of various styles, because of successive periods of destruction and rebuilding. All that remains of the original building is a part of the nave, in which lies the carved tomb of the main founder, Aymeric He´brard de St Sulpice. On the square, the imposing entrance tower, with a Gothic arch over the door, gives access to the "Chemin des Dames". The adjacent building housed the apartments of the abbess and the nuns. The original cloister, Gothic in style, also disappeared during the Hundred Years' War. The present one is of unknown date.
