A short shady walk that allows you to discover a specificity of the causses, a stream that gets lost in a cavity and reappears a few kilometres further on

Between impermeable marls and causse, the Cros stream disappears in a fissure in the limestone massif named Perte du Cros. The water comes out 3.5 km further on at the cave of Saint-Géry. But the richness of the place comes essentially from the proven presence of men for 8500 years

The Lot's character is formed by its 'causses' (limestone plateaux) through which the Lot, Dordogne and Célé valleys have carved their way. It is studded with major tourist attractions and beautiful villages such as Rocamadour, Cahors, Figeac and Saint Cirq Lapopie….
