A challenging ride, intended for the most experienced cyclists, which takes you up on to the heights of the Lot and into the foothills of the Massif Central. And for those who are less used to a series of stiff climbs and descents, the D 48 offers the chance to cut the itinerary in two by going through Leyme. Take care, however: this variant is not signposted, so check the route carefully on the map.
