The Cahors vineyards... an undulating, open landscape, punctuated by the silhouette of a few walnut trees, modest vineyard huts and tobacco drying sheds... soils to be discovered and tasted over a glass of wine in one of the many wine estates.
A land of transition between Quercy and Périgord, Bouriane stretches between the valleys of the Lot in the south and the Dordogne in the north. The forests of chestnut and oak, the heather and ferns evoke the outskirts of the Périgord... the earth is red and the stones of the houses are adorned with ochre.
